Integrity · Identity
Character is what remains when nobody is watching and nothing is at stake.
There is the version of you in the meeting and the version alone in a room at eleven at night with your browser history and your bank app open. The second one is the real one.
This is not about shame. It is about coherence, the quiet relief of never having to remember which version of yourself you performed, for whom, and in which room.
Integrity means integrated: one person, one standard, whether the room is full or empty. Less about being impressive, more about being whole, and far less tiring to carry.
The self you are in private is the self that shows up under pressure, invited or not.
Action
Name one thing you do privately that you would not defend publicly, and stop it today.
