Faith

Faith · Faith

Faith is not the absence of fear but movement in its presence.

We have been taught to wait until the fear is gone before we move. But fear rarely leaves before the step is taken. It waits at the threshold, and most people wait with it — indefinitely.

Some spend years there, calling it wisdom, calling it discernment, calling it waiting on God, when it was only ever fear wearing better language. Fear is very good at sounding spiritual.

Faith is not certainty. Faith is the decision to move despite uncertainty — to trust something larger than your current visibility. Every great thing you have done began before you felt ready. Every single one.

The other side of fear is always worth the crossing.
