Wisdom

Knowledge tells you what is true; wisdom tells you what to do about it on a Tuesday.

Plenty of people know more than their bosses and will never lead. Information is not judgement. Judgement is knowing which true thing matters most right now, and what acting on it will cost.

Wisdom is largely pattern recognition bought with mistakes, your own or borrowed from people honest enough to describe theirs in detail. You can buy the second kind at the price of a phone call.

So read, but keep records too. Write the decision down with your reasoning beside it. Return in six months and mark it honestly. That loop, repeated, is how judgement is actually built.

Being right matters far less than being right at the moment it counts.

Action

Write down one decision you face this week and the reasoning behind your current leaning.
