The comeback is always in the continuation.

The stories we celebrate are always the ones that kept going. The business that failed twice before it succeeded. The athlete who was cut from the team before they ever became the star.

The writer rejected so many times they stopped counting, until the book that changed everything. But we only know those stories because they continued. The ones who stopped left no story to tell.

The only difference between a setback and a setup is what you do the day after. Not the grand relaunch. The unremarkable Tuesday when you sat down and started again.

The next step forward is always available to you, and it is usually smaller than you think.

Think of something you gave up on. Ask yourself honestly: is it actually over, or did I just stop?
