There is a pressure to have it all figured out. The career, the relationships, the faith, the finances — all neat and ordered, all at once, and preferably by a certain age. But nobody lives in a finished state.

We are all mid-sentence. The people who look most complete from the outside have simply made peace with the fact that they never fully will be, and stopped apologising for it.

They did not wait to feel ready. They started living forward while the questions were still open, and found that most of the answers only arrive once you are already moving.
