Faith · Faith

You are held even when you cannot feel it.

There are seasons when the silence of heaven feels like absence itself. When you have prayed and nothing seems to shift. When you have trusted and the situation has not changed.

When the evidence around you is inconsistent with the promise you believe. But the absence of visible movement is not the absence of support. It never has been.

The tree that appears still in the calm is still being held by roots you cannot see. You are not abandoned in your quiet seasons. You are sustained in ways that do not always announce themselves.

In him we live and move and have our being — even when we cannot feel it.

Action

Sit quietly for five minutes today. Not to ask for anything. Just to acknowledge that you are held.
